VRWRK (pronounced VR-WORK) are East London based producers Matt Sey and Jergan Callebaut and vocalist Salem Khazali. They’ve been consistently turning heads with their singles since they joined forces last year.

Following on from the news of their signing to X-Ray touring (Gorillaz, PJ Harvey, T-Pain), VRWRK recently released a new single ‘Different Crowd’ taken from their forthcoming debut LP ‘On the Outside’.

‘Different Crowd’ is about change – both musically and personally. ‘At the time it was written, loads of things were shifting — it’s a sort of introspective pep-talk where I had to be like; “right there’s certain energies you can’t take forward with you right now.”’ says vocalist Salem Khazali.

We spoke to vocalist Salem to find out a little more about what makes him tick.
