Tycho // In Short

tycho

Morphing from Scott Hansen’s solo project into a fully-fledged, energetic trio earlier this year, Tycho seem to jump from strength to strength. In their densely-layered instrumentals and blissful ambient elements, they really are one of the most exciting groups to emerge in the past decade.

Their shows – which feature traditional electronic samples being triggered alongside organic, live instruments – are not to be missed. Ahead of this Friday’s performance at The Forum, we caught up with Hansen (known to the design/visual world by the pseudonym ISO50) to talk about his most hated song and meeting half of Tenacious D.
