Over the years Transgressive has put out countless seminal records from an incredible wealth of remarkable and pioneering artists. This autumn sees them celebrate 15 years of releasing, publishing and managing an eclectic range of musicians, exceptional in their own respective fields. To mark the occasion we got founders Tim Dellow and Toby L to select tracks from five of their current hot artists to look out for.
Throughout this year Transgressive has been celebrating the landmark with a series of special events including Foals’ intimate show at The Great Escape, a Rabbit Hole takeover at Glastonbury, a late-night takeover at Reading and Leeds, and they have an upcoming show with Flume at Brixton Academy on November 12th. The show’s sold-out now but whether you managed to get a ticket or not, you can enjoy Flume’s latest single and an exceptional selection of tracks from Transgressive right here.
From the ever-iconic SOPHIE to KOKOKO!’s euphoric, radical and raw party sound and latest signee Arlo Parks, here’s to the multi-faceted label’s impressive existence and to many more years of bringing us the good sounds.
Julien Chang – Butterflies From Monaco
This is one of those pieces of music that truly transports. Just one highlight from this ridiculously young and talented man’s incredible, forthcoming debut album.

KOKOKO! – Kitoko

Another irresistible jam from a perfect debut record. Fongola came out in the summer, and this song, although tucked near the end, leaps out every time. Sounds unlike anything else.
SOPHIE – Whole New World – Sophie & Doss Remix
Taken from her recently dropped “non-stop remix album”, this is a sensational reworking of the raging closer.
Benny Mails – Marathon
Benny continues to deliver the goods. Marathon is an instantly infectious and distinctive earworm. Cannot wait to see this one played out at his headline show at Corsica Studios in a few weeks.
Arlo Parks – George
Released by our friends at Beatnik, Arlo is the latest signing to Transgressive. Her most recent single, George is assured and timeless. And just the start of something very special.
Flume plays a sold-out show at Brixton Academy on November 12th November. Keep up to date with Transgressive here.
