The biggest Printworks season to date kicks off with Amelie Lens on Saturday 21st September…
Printworks have announced their Autumn/Winter season programming, and for the first time their schedule stretches across three venues. Most of the parties will take place in the cavernous former printing halls in Canada Water, Circoloco’s marathon event will take place at The Drumsheds (if you’re not familiar The Drumsheds played host to this year’s Field Day), and Magazine London will host its first ever party courtesy of Solid Grooves, Michael Bibi and his new concept Isolate.
Red Bull Music Festival present a headline show from Aphex Twin on Saturday September 14th, with support from Afrodeutsche, Nihiloxica and Caterina Barbieri. The official in-house opening will take place the following weekend, presenting a banging techno lineup featuring Amelie Lens, Nicole Moudaber, Nastia and Luigi Madonna.
Across the rest of the reason, which will run from September to January, other highlights include 25 Years of Metalheadz on October 5th (Goldie, DJ Randall, DJ Storm b2b Flight), Peggy Gou’s Gou Talk on November 2nd (Peggy Gou, Octave One (Live), DMX Krew), Bugged Out! on November 16th (Erol Alkan, Green Velvet, Modeselektor DJ), and a eye-wateringly good lineup courtesy of The Hydra on December 21st (Robert Hood, Laurel Halo, Skee Mask).
With further events to be announced at The Drumsheds over the winter season, Circoloco is the first to be announced. The DC10 stalwarts will takeover the venue on Saturday December 14th, with the lineup still to be announced.
Just five minutes walk from North Greenwich station, anticipation for the launch of Magazine London has been building since the announcement of the new state of the art venue earlier this year. Michael Bibi’s Isolate will take place on Saturday October 12th; expect hypnotising visuals to complement his distinctive groove-led house.
