Peggy Sue have always stood in the shadows of label mates First Aid Kit. Granted their music isn’t as easily accessible as the Swedish duo’s, but by giving them the time their music exclusively requires you can come away feeling wholesomely rewarded. Now clocking up their fourth full-length studio release, ‘Choir Of Echoes’ matches their trend of consistently outdoing their former effort. Retaining their exquisite harmonies the trio from Brighton have added wonderful crystalline, dream-like guitars that make tracks like ‘Esme’ and ‘Idle’ flourish and feel beautifully natural. This is the album we knew Peggy Sue had in them, their best yet, and one that can only do them wonders.
