Ever since she garnered acclaim and made a huge impact with ‘Skwod’ a few years ago, Nadia Rose has continued to flex her searing flow and incisive, playful lyrical prowess with inimitable confidence and finesse. As she releases her new EP First Class today, we caught up with her for a quick chat.

Released on her own Qwerky Entertainment imprint, First Class exudes powerful, liberated self-assurance from the first skittering, swaggering beats and bars of ‘Sugar Zaddy’. Across the EP Rose’s slick vocals flow seamlessly with rapid dynamism amongst a fusion of glistening, gilded melodies and sharp, sultry hip-hop grooves. Her first release since breaking away from the constraints of a major label, First Class serves up heat-filled summer anthems and demonstrates just how much of a powerfully creative and singular force Nadia Rose truly is.
