21-year-old R&B powerhouse Kara Marni has returned with a fierce, formidable and infectious new single in the shape of Move so we caught up with her to find out a bit more about her and a few things that she’s digging right now.

A bold new cut, which shows a more up-tempo side of the one-to-watch talent, ‘Move’ dials up Kara’s sassy and sophisticated delivery and explores a playful side of her personality. Emulating that rich, powerful, soulful sound that inspires her from heritage artists such as Sade, Minnie Ripperton, Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Move shows a progression in sound for the young singer and we think she’s not one to miss.

After we had ‘Move’ on repeat since its release, we were excited to hear that Kara has a headline show taking place at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen on 14th November. To tide us over in the meantime, we sent the singer a few questions to find a little more about her and what she’s digging at the moment.
