We caught up with rapper-singer Ivy Sole to find out a little about what makes her tick.

Drawing from her childhood heroes Missy Elliott and Aaliyah, Ivy Sole gives us classic 2000s bounce and a boatload of bass, with vocals that take us high. “Rollercoaster” explores the ups and downs of an on-again, off-again relationship and how irresistible someone can be, even when you know they’re bad for you.

“Rollercoaster” comes after a soaring 2017, with self-released EPs entitled EAST and WEST and standout million-stream singles “Life” and “My Way”, both of which were featured on the popular Spotify Fresh Finds playlist. The unsigned triple threat is gearing up for another big year, with an album on the way later this year. We caught up with her to find out a little about what makes her tick.
