Released on Friday, Group Therapy Vol. 1 features a wealth of rare and unheard gems from the likes of Sorry, 404 Guild, Porridge Radio, Happyness, Tony Njoku and so many more, with the compilation raising money for the Music Venue Trust and NHS Charities Together.

Across the expansive 65 track release, London-based label and collective Group Therapy not only offers an expertly curated selection of tracks but also a compilation that tangibly centres on the importance of community. The sheer quantity of incredible artists that have contributed is testament to this and to the cause – with proceeds split 50/50 to support the vital work of NHS workers alongside the Music Venue Trust’s important initiative to help secure the future of so many beloved grassroots venues.

Speaking on the compilation, Group Therapy express “For us, and many of the acts involved in this project, independent music venues are very close to our hearts, and the thought that so many might not be able to survive this pandemic is heartbreaking. We also want to help support in any way we can to the NHS workers working tirelessly to keep us safe.”

The compilation also comes accompanied by a digital zine including photos and track descriptions as well as various friends of the collective talking about their favourite venues. And you can get all that for just 7 quid, what’s not to love?
