This week we’re featuring Eleonora Collini, another OG contributor for London in Stereo. Her first collaboration with London in Stereo was a photo of EMA featured in the April 2014 issue, and since then she has been a regular contributor both as a photographer and writer. She’s another familiar face in the pit, and her passion for her work can be felt both in person and through her photos.
She has been contributing to music magazines as a portrait and gig photographer, as well as working with music venues and promoters, theatres, music artists and actors since 2011.
INTERPOL at ROYAL ALBERT HALL – Nov 2018
‘I don’t think any other band have ever meant to me as much as Interpol have since their very beginning, not just for their unbelievable music, but also for the many connections I have made through them. I have probably seen/photographed them close to 100 times around the world (no kidding!), but seeing them in such a beautiful venue was pretty magical!’
SPOON at 100 CLUB – Feb 2017
‘Another favourite band of mine and such a good one to see/photograph live. The portrait photoshoot happened the day before when I also interviewed them.’
TOGETHER PANGEA at SHACKLEWELL ARMS – September 2019
‘What a fun yet challenging night that was! There is no photo pit at the Shacklewell Arms and the stage is very low, pretty much at my knee height. I was up front all the time, snapping and dancing, and the next day my tights and knees were covered in bruises from all the crowd moshing and pressing my body against the stage!’
CAGE THE ELEPHANT at BRIXTON ACADEMY – Jan 2017 ‘These guys are one of the funniest live acts of the last decade or so, and such a joy to photograph!’
PITCHFORK PARIS – Nov 2018
‘As if you needed another excuse to go to Paris……Pitchfork Paris is such a cool, low key festival in a great venue! I particularly enjoyed the lineup in 2018, with Stephen Malkmus, Dream Wife and Julian Casablancas being my personal highlights.’
Eleonora’s work has been featured on many renowned publications, such as Clash, Q, Uncut, Loud & Quiet, Rolling Stone, Noisey, Financial Times, Rock Sound, The Times, Spectator, Line of Best Fit and The 405.
