As Bandcamp are waiving their fees again today, Tom from the ever-amazing Eat Your Own Ears has picked a selection of releases to support in the absence of shows right now.

Consistently bringing so many of our faves to the city Eat Your Own Ears form an integral part of London’s live music scene. Whilst gigs are on hold for the foreseeable future they’ve been providing plenty of great listening recommendations which you can check out on their Spotify playlist. And they’ve selected an incredible array of releases from EYOE artists who’ve had shows rescheduled or cancelled for us.

From the off-kilter folk-pop of Pictish Trail to Kai Whiston’s eclectic experimental electronica, Ana Frango Elétrico’s Bossanova-infused jazz and the afro-futurist grooves of Onipa, plus so much more, there’s definitely something here for everyone. And as Bandcamp waive their fees today it’s the best time to support artists and get some great new music in your life.

“At this rather strange and sad time, that feels somewhat like being part of a surreal film, we can perhaps find time and enjoyment in exploring, discovering and listening to as much new music as possible.

With Bandcamp generously waiving their revenue share again this Friday 1st May, we’ve compiled a list of brilliant releases from the emerging talent we work with to support during a time of no live shows. We very much look forward to seeing all of these artists and many others when shows return to celebrate the brilliance and excitement of live music again.”
