Ahead of playing Studio 9294 with Kedr Livanskiy and Yeule later this month, we caught up with Finnish musician and producer Detalji to talk trance, Crash Bandicoot, her fave food on tour and more.

On her latest single ‘Without You’ Detalji takes her sound to even greater heights of hypnotising dancefloor hedonism, sonically capturing the euphoria of being completely lost in the moment at the club. A combination of soaring trance-imbued melodies and beats alongside Detalji’s rich, emotive vocals, ‘Without You’ is a potent, liberating expression of surrendering to love and the rush of excitement that comes with this.

The creative moniker of Helsinki-based artist Krista Myllyviita, last year Detalji released her debut EP Sex which fully immersed us in her mesmerising leftfield electronica, drawing influence from 90s club music and channelling a certain dark experimentalism tinged with gothic inspiration.
