Daymé Arocena heads to Jazz Café this month to bring to life the wonders of her second album Cubafonía, the classically trained Cuban takes influences from the many rhythms and styles of Havana whilst taking inspiration from the world she’s been travelling for the last two years. Signed to Giles Peterson’s Brownswood imprint, this is undoubtedly one of the last times you’ll get to see her in such an intimate setting.
