The Pickle Factory x Timedance

Friday 10th May, The Pickle Factory
Batu / Deena Abdelwahed / Metrist

Forward thinking Bristol label Timedance takeover The Pickle Factory with a genre-bending lineup. Timedance boss Batu headlines, with support from Deena Abdelwahed. This will be the Tunisian artists’ first show at the Bethnal Green venue, still riding the wave of her excellent debut album – last year’s InFine-released Khonnar. Brighton based Metrist completes the bill.

This week Bradley Zero’s XOYO residency shines a light on two labels that represent the best of club music in their respective capital cities. London label Night Slugs are fully crew deep, headed up by founders Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990. For Lisbon, the self-titled “ghetto sound of Lisbon” lands upstairs in The Green Room courtesy of Príncipe’s finest including DJ Marfox and DJ Lycox.



Saturday 18th May, Mick’s Garage
Barker (live) / Mor Elian / more TBA

Off the back of his excellent Ostgut Ton-released EP Debiasing – up there in the finest of Objekt’s so-called “no-kick rollers”, Barker will launch his album at the latest edition of Origins. The party goes from 3pm right through to 4am, with Barker playing live in the evening. He’ll be supported by Berlin based Fever AM label head Mor Elian, and the rest of the lineup remains TBA for now.


Cabin Fever

Saturday 25th May, The Waiting Room

Previous editions of Cabin Fever have welcomed the likes of Pariah, Pangaea and Breaka to various venues across London. This time around, in the intimate confines of Stoke Newington venue The Waiting Room, Rhythm Section affiliate, NTS resident and illustrator anu steps up to play for the bank holiday with her wonderfully multifaceted selections.


FOLD Presents

Friday 31st May, FOLD
Afrodeutsche / Alienata / DJ Deep / London Modular Alliance (live) / Voicedrone

This is one for fans of weird, deep electro. Canning Town venue FOLD present the brilliant Afrodeutsche, who will play live, as will London Modular Alliance – get to the front to make the most of their mad analogue set up. Alienata also plays, the Berlin-based DJ with a penchant for obscure and industrial sounds. Deeply Rooted label head DJ Deep and Georgia’s Voicedrone complete the bill.




India Jordan – DNT STP MY LV (Local Action) 

The title track of India Jordan’s debut EP is an absolute stormer, DNT STOP MY LV is out now via south London label Local Action.

Lauren Flax – One Man’s House Is Another Woman’s Techno (The Bunker New York)

Thumping percussion and wiggy synths out of New York.

Dexter & De Sluwe Vos – Wolfsegg (Patron Records) 

Excellent Dutch electro with squelchy synths and crisp drums.

Marie Davidson – Work It (Soulwax Remix) (Ninja Tune) 

Marie Davidson’s tongue-in-cheek album cut ‘Work It’ gets a classic makeover from the kings of the remix.

Kasper Marott – Sky Dreams (Kulør) 

Courtesy’s label Kulør is the perfect home for the latest from Kasper Marott.
