South London cohort of DJs, producers, and drag queens Prestige Pak – who were recently crowned victorious at the Roundhouse Rising Soundclash – present Hipsters Don’t Dance in our favourite Peckham basement. Expect to sweat as HDD bring a high energy cocktail of dancehall, UK club, soca and afrobeat to Rye Wax for the first party of the bank holiday.

Raw Silk present a bank holiday party in brand new venue The Glove That Fits. The intimate basement will play host to the lovely anu. Long-time Rhythm Section affiliate and now a DJ, illustrator and radio host, anu’s penchant for the weird and wonderful results in sets that are as uplifting as they are multifarious.

For their first party at Bussey they have put together a stellar line up headlined by esteemed selector Matthew Herbert, Apron bossman FunkinEven and Berlin’s Kate Miller. Beloved Bristol label Idle Hands takeover Room 2.

It’s time for another celebration of the 909 as Detroit king Jeff Mills is back in town for a techno masterclass. Saturday resident Craig Richards supports with JP Enfant completing the room one line up. Over in room two, Marcel Fengler presents his own imprint IMF. Fengler invites two artists who’ve collaborated on an upcoming compilation to join him in the booth, with a live show from FJAAK and Berlin’s Thomas Hessler steps up for his fabric debut.

This party could not be more aptly named. In a new mini-series, Krankbrother invite revered crate diggers with astounding record collections to take the helm. This bank holiday special at E1 (formally Studio Spaces) runs from 6pm to 2am and features three of the world’s most respected selectors: Gilles Peterson, Jeremy Underground and Young Marco. If you needed any encouragement to pace yourself across the inevitable four day bender – herewith!
