Resident Advisor’s twenty four/seven series lands in London, and where better to host a 24 hour party than at FOLD, London’s best venue for extended dancing. With FOLD’s licence currently under scrutiny, it seems the perfect time to celebrate FOLD’s importance in the city, and the brilliant diversity of London club culture right now. The lineup is massive, the dance goes on for a full, well, 24 hours of course. The party will be spread across five spaces, and you’re welcome to come and go as you please should you need a disco nap.

Call Super + Overmono (DJ Set) + Dekmantel Soundsystem

Friday 13th December, XOYO
The Basement: Call Super / Overmono (DJ) / Dekmantel Soundsystem
Green Room: Mad Miran / OKO DJ / BertBert

There’s only a few weeks left of team Dekmantel’s XOYO residency, with December 13th marking one of the strongest lineups in the series. Down in the basement, the brilliant Call Super will play alongside Overmono – the duo responsible for some of the dance floor’s most popular cuts right now (‘Bromley’ with Joy O, and ‘Le Tigre’), and Dekmantel Soundsystem. Upstairs in the Green Room, Netherlands’ Mad Miran joins OKO DJ and BertBert to control proceedings amongst the leaves.

Make Me

Friday 13th December, Corsica Studios
dBridge / Dr. Rubinstein / Bambounou / Marco Shuttle / FAUZIA / Ploy / Enchanted Rhythms b2b Dan Beaven / GiGi FM / Kit Seymour / Rubin / Rupes / Nic Baird

Christmas is coming early with this banging lineup from the Make Me crew. “We’re not really supposed to have favourite lineups of the year… But if we did, it would almost certainly be this one”, they admit. All three rooms of Corsica will be open for the occasion, with dBridge controlling proceedings in The Columbian. In room 2, Bambounou will close in his Make Me debut, joined by Ploy, Enchanted Rhythms and Dan Beaven going b2b, and Make Me’s own Kit Seymour (his set at Make Me’s October party was a highlight.) In room one, bright, undulating techno is the name of the game with Dr. Rubinstein, Marco Shuttle, GiGi FM, and Make Me residents Rupes and Nic Baird going b2b.

Mix of the Month

Mixmag In Session: Darwin

The former Griessmuehle resident and 2020 resident for The Pickle Factory steps up for Mixmag’s In Session series. Demonstrating the breadth of her DJ sets, Darwin’s In Session spans murky bass for the darkest dance floors, garage, jungle, breaks and footwork, with some Missy Elliot thrown in for good measure. Keeping the energy high with driving basslines, here Darwin has perfected the fine balance between dark, heads down heaters and brighter, more punchy cuts.
