Bree Runway’s visionary creativity is limitless. With each track, she steps up the heat even more and we are so here for it. With her latest track ‘Damn Daniel’ out now, we caught up with the London artist to talk Spice Girls, playing a show in her front room and her fave dish to cook.

Teaming up with Yung Baby Tate, ‘Damn Daniel’ is an effervescent, energetic, 90s-indebted track filled with infectious, bold pop and quick-fire bars that exude a heady charisma. Accompanied by a kaleidoscopic retro-styled video, ‘Damn Daniel’ is an undeniable burst of fun and sees Bree Runway continue to defy any attempts to pigeonhole her and bring something new with each release.

Speaking on the track Bree details, “I landed in Sweden for a writing trip, I was binge watching back to back shows of Fresh Prince and Martin, I love the music in those shows and thought to myself, if I was a songwriter during that time and was asked to contribute to a soundtrack for one of those shows, what would that be? I felt really inspired and decided to play around with some 80’s sounds, I fell in love with the lead chords and stepped straight into character, alas my character Keisha was born. It was a no-brainer to bring Tate on board, this song tells a story; it’s full of character, drama, unity, it’s colourful and FUN, everything we both are! An ultimate bad bitches link up!”.
