Beverly make music that sounds like Sonic Youth bathed in the sun, charming and blistering all at once. Layers of hazy guitars wash over Jamie Ingalls’ sharp drumming, fronted by Drew Citron’s nostalgia tinged vocal, it’s the soundtrack to every perfect daydream you’ve ever had. Having released their debut album Careers earlier this year, this month they head to London to set audiences alight across the city, from supporting the Drums to headlining The Old Blue Last, they’ll be bringing warmth to the ever colder London streets.
Before they hit our shores we got to know the trio a little better.
