Ever since her cover of Rihanna’s ‘Work’ became a viral phenomenon last year, Spanish rapper Bad Gyal’s career has skyrocketed. The 20-year-old from Barcelona has since racked up over two million hits on the track and put out a string of string of releases since that have seen her dubbed the ‘Queen of Catalan Trap’.

Next week, she’ll be playing our Great Escape First Fifty showcase at the Old Blue Last alongside Promiseland, Denzel Himself and Fred Well. We got to know her a little better ahead of the show.
