Shoegaze-sloping dream-pop trio Wyldest are London based Zoe Mead (lead), Mariin Kallikorm (multi-instrumentalist) and Jack Gooderham (drums), just another female-fronted indie band making some dreamy bangers, but nonetheless extraordinary.

Having recently dropped latest single ‘The Poet’, an atmospheric, synth-driven track built around a poignant, bending guitar line and Mead’s haunting vocal quality, the trio will be one of four female-fronted bands on the line-up of an exciting event from In The Picture at The Finsbury (25th March). ‘A Night Of Celebrating Women In The Music Industry’ is about embracing and encouraging female successes in music, and will also include performances from uprising indie-pop quartet Anteros, critics’ favourite Lazy Day and Norwich feminist foursome, Peach Club.

We caught up with Zoe on International Women’s Day to find out more about her.
