We caught up with Lyra ahead of SWITCH taking place at Omeara in London Bridge this Thursday 8th November.

SWITCH is a brand new bi-monthly club night celebrating the best in emerging music at Omeara in London Bridge. Curated by Communion Presents, SWITCH brings you the artists that Communion are tipping for big things.

For the next edition, taking place Thursday 7th of November, the line up is as exciting and diverse as always with emerging artists Petrie, Lyra, Jens Kuross and Kyan taking to the stage. We caught up with one artist, Lyra, ahead of the show to find out a little bit about what does (and doesn’t) make her tick.

Hailed by Line of Best Fit as ‘an unstoppable force of nature’, Irish native Lyra delivers an exciting blend of dark electronic pop. Influenced by icons such as Kate Bush, Lykke Li and Bat for Lashes, Lyra has spent the past year honing her sound, writing with the likes of Braque (Rag N Bone Man, Bastille), Charlie Hugall (Florence & The Machine) and Phil Cook (Birdy). 2017 was a busy year for Lyra and we don’t expect she’ll stop there.
