Issa Thursday! Radar Radio have bought back Thursday joie de vivre with a bang over the last couple of months and here, for their first party of 2018, they definitely mean business. Taking over Old Street venue East Bloc every Thursday, this week they invite Bala Club co-founder Kamixlo to headline with support from Goon Club Allstars bossman Moleskin, Radar’s own Tash LC and Gqom duo Pattaya.

Fast becoming one of London’s most beloved selectors by dancers and DJs alike, Debonair’s sets are wonderfully unpredictable. Expect a body grooving concoction as she headlines Locomotive Disco the go-to party for feel good house, disco and funk. World music aficionado Lucid Stannard supports with 70s lover Executive Realness completing the bill.

New Scenery are hosting their next party at Hackney Wick venue The Yard. The line up is all sorts of good, and all the proceeds will go to Sisters Uncut, the feminist action group working to defend services against domestic violence. Providing a platform for female and non binary artists, Berlin’s Ziúr headlines. Expect a night of heavy drums and eerie melodies as French artist Coucou Chloe also plays, bringing her uncompromising experimental pop sound to the fore.
Saturday 27th January 2018, Five Miles
Willow / Turinn / Rubin /Rupes
Five Miles will be a fitting new home for Darkroom, an intimate party with big sound that used to take place at Dance Tunnel. Manchester producer Willow heads up proceedings; expect dark electronic cuts perfect for the Five Miles sound system. Manchester triumphs once again with support from Modern Love affiliate Turinn. Rubin and Rupes complete the bill.
