A monthly feature in which we move out of the live space and into the club, handpicking five parties and five releases worth your attention.
Saturday 9th September 2017, The Pickle Factory
Resident Advisor’s Saoirse takes to The Pickle Factory decks for a seven hour all night long set. A diverse DJ on the rise, this year has seen her play sets at the likes of Gottwood, Freerotation and Houghton Festival. Her set at Percolate’s own Open Air festival at the end of July was one of our favourites. Expect house and techno with smatterings of electro, jungle and everything in between. Check out her recent RA podcast here.
Saturday 16th September 2017, Club Makossa
Kahwe / CON GAS crew
“Bring your friends, come get gassed xx” CON GAS is a party by friends for friends. Here in the third instalment of the series they invite Kahwe – an artist who’s been finessing his trade warming up for the likes of Ben Klock and Prosumer – to headline. Kahwe has played shows at Dimensions and Space Ibiza (RIP) and his releases via Anjunadeep have seen support from legends like Kerry Chandler and Larry Heard. It’s a measly £5 on the door on the door after 11pm and all proceeds go to Pause, a charity that works to support women who have had their children taken into care. Makossa is a small space so get down early.
Friday 22nd September 2017, fabric
Room One: Midland / Tama Sumo / Debonair. Room Two: Karenn (Live) / Shifted / Setaoc Mass
Alongside the release of September’s FABRICLIVE mix, the wonderful Harry Aguis aka Midland takes the helm to headline room 1. The mix is “an ode to the many facets of club culture” and we can expect a celebration in the same vein as he brings his undulating mix of house, techno and disco to the fore. Supported by NTS’s Debonair and Panorama Bar’s Tama Sumo support. Over in room 2 we turn to techno, with Karenn (Blawan and Pariah) playing live supported by Shifted and Setaoc Mass.
Saturday 23rd September 2017, Mangle E8
Rhadoo / Moritz Von Oswald / Matteo Manzini
Unleash are back with a stellar line up. Following shows with artists like Guy Gerber, tINI, Shonky and Apollonia, this time around they invite Romanian minimal stalwart Rhadoo to headline. As the Summer draws to an end, it’s a pleasure to see one of Ibiza’s brightest underground talents headlining the party; if you’ve not been to one of Rhadoo’s Thursday parties at Underground on the White Isle – get to know. Tresor resident Moritz Von Oswald and Matteo Manzini complete the bill.

Surgeon & Lady Starlight (Live) / Gary Beck / STERAC aka Steve Rachmad / SHXCXCHCXSH (Live) / Black Asteroid / µ-Ziq / Ceephax Acid Crew (Live) / Bochum Welt (Live) / Mamiko Motto / Sex of Insects (Live)
The Playground celebrate 10 years of parties by inviting 10 artists to a party spanning 10 hours. One of the finest techno artists on the planet, Surgeon is joined by Lady Starlight who supported Lady Gaga on her ArtRave tour. They’ve been playing improvised live shows together and we know it’ll be electrifying. Legendary artists Gary Beck and Steve Rachmad also play, as well as the experimental sounds of Ceephax Acid Crew and Mike Paradinas’ µ-Ziq. Expect a night of banging techno with a handful of silliness in place of heads down chin stroking.
