Saturday 1st December, The Cause
Skee Mask / Bruce / Afrodeutsche / Rene Wise / Yant / Kerker
Kicking off advent in style, two artists responsible for two of the year’s best albums on two of the hottest labels take the helm at The Cause on Saturday 1st December – Ilian Tape’s Skee Mask and Hessle Audio affiliate Bruce will be joined by Manchester based Afrodeutsche, Rene Wise, Yant and Kerker. Still relatively new in the game, following shows featuring the likes of Umwelt, Galaxian and Radioactive Man, Unbound present their biggest party to date and the first to sell out in advance. There will be a few tickets on the door so get down early.
Saturday 8th December, Ormside Projects
Beneath + Guests
December 8th marks No Symbols’ third birthday. The home grown bass-centric party and record label is the brainchild Beneath, purveyor of heavily textured and discombobulated club music who, aside from his own label, has released on the likes of Tectonic, PAN and Berceuse Heroique. Beneath will be joined by special unannounced guests on the night, it’s gonna be loud and it’s gonna be silly.
Friday 14th December, FOLD
David Vunk / Elena Colombi / iona (UK)
+ hosts The Menendez Brothers / DJ Karl Karlson / Brian Summers
Mince pies and sherry in the rave courtesy of the Feelings residents and their motley crew. As they round up their fourth year of hosting parties, Feelings invite Rotterdam’s David Vunk to headline with support from NTS affiliate Elena Colombi. After a stormer of a show with Feelings at the inaugural Kala Festival in Albania this summer, rising star iona completes the bill.
Saturday 15th December, The Glove That Fits
High Hoops x Raw Silk
Marcos Navarro & Robbie Bloomer are High Hoops, and Grace George & Steph Smith are Raw Silk. The two party starting duos will join forces on 15th December in one of London’s loveliest intimate venues for a night that’s all about the dance. Expect a selection covering house, disco, psychedelic world music and wiggy leftfield rollers. Put your best foot forward as you’ll be joined on the dance floor by some of London’s best Voguers.
Saturday 29th December, Studio 9294
Call Super / Shanti Celeste/ Secretsundaze
Christmas is over, do you need to escape your family? Look no further than the wonderful Secretsundaze’s alternative to a New Year’s Eve bash – the Last Dance. Taking over a brand new warehouse space in Hackney for the occasion, Giles Smith and James Priestly have locked down Call Super for his first Secretsundaze appearance. Shanti Celeste joins the pair once again playing their parties in London, Barcelona and Croatia.
