Six more top bands have been announced for this year’s VISIONS festival. Are you ready?

Celebrating its fifth birthday across a variety of London Fields’ venues, the one-day music and culture extravaganza on August 5th is looking better than ever. And as always, the bands will continue to surprise and delight – from the veteran Detroit noiseniks Wolf Eyes to the up-and-coming acts of Goat Girl and Night Flowers.

Now, London in Stereo is proud to announce that the next wave of bands added to the festival line-up include: our former cover stars Kero Kero Bonito, Soccer Mommy, Sacred Paws, Her’s, Sorry and hotly-tipped rapper Denzel Himself.

They join the distinguished ranks of art rockers Liars, underrated techno queen Marie Davidson and the pummelling antics of Fuck Buttons co-founder Benjamin John Power – aka Blanck Mass.

But the VISIONS festival has always been about so much more than just music. This year you can look forward to a skate and film cinema screening thanks to the Institute of Light. It’s the arts space tucked in the railway arch in Helmsley Place which will feature a proper schedule of specially selected surf and skate films, new and classic. And it comes complete with a full DJ line-up and a fully-shredded BBQ out back.

And if you’re into punishing your body in a different way, check out the expanded focus on tattoo art that the festival is bringing. They’ve called back the trusted crew from Haggerston’s Old Habits tattoo shop to offer special flash designs all day long at killer prices.

But for the first time, VISIONS has tapped into the rich history of inkmasters with a special exhibition of artwork from Sailor Jerry, as well as traditional and contemporary designs from artists new and old. You’ve drunk the rum. But now come and find out what the fuss is all about.

Tickets are just £27.50. And given that’s the price of a round or two in a shit London bar, we strongly recommended you expand your mind the VISIONS way…
